One small concern is that there will be 15 minutes less drinking time on the train to Brussels! [:p]

More to the point, hope someone knows where the nearest supermarket is in Brussels is so that we can refill before the train journey home[:w][}:)][:w]

The wine in a carton was as we predicted: disgusting. I think we were just tempted by the bargain price of 1 Euro!

I do believe I drank it without too much complaint though [:D]

Nick - please stick me & SWMBO down on the list - sounds like a belter of a bash. Travelodge is just fine for us though [:D]

Cheers
Michael

Hehehehe, champers and glitter fizz at stupid-o'clock in the morning again, who could resist? [:D]
Oh, and the latest on my possible stay in Brussels next year is that it's now estimated at just over 3 months - Mar-Jun. That'll be about 8km outside the centre, just near Zaventem.

Just call me the human drain [:D][:o)]
Think I saw some in the supermarket at the station when coming back on Eurostar from Brussels in May [;)]

Have booked my hotel with an option to cancel. No way on earth am I Travelodge'ing again this year so have booked the Ambassadors Bloomsbury. It's on Upper Woburn St and right opposite the Hilton where some of us met last year before dinner. Good reviews apart from small rooms but as I don't plan on spending much time in there, who cares.

Think we will burn a few points and stay at the Euston Hilton,1 travel lodge stay in a life time is enough, especially as the miserable sods closed the bar early.
