Or get refund from Eurostar, go to bar, drink. OR that Vine place that Decker talked about a few months back.

If they cancel the train, do we get a refund and a free ticket like they offered the other week? That's the next two socials taken care of! [:w]

I will give Eurostar a ring on Monday and ask the 'what if?' questions.

The attraction of our trip is the exclusivity of the carriage - if there are cancellations, i am not sure how this affects us.

I will ask the questions and report back.

I'm sure we could manage to clear the carriage of strangers if we tried! [:p]

When we failed to get a train on the 19th December to see my folks (the day after the trains were stuck in the tunnel) my refund was processed very quickly and without quibble. This is one area that Eurotunnel are actually pretty good at.

Worst case scenario - a watering hole in St Pancras :)

Thanks,
Sarah
