HfP have an article this morning about AmEx Platinum and the Preferred Rewards Gold card annual fees increasing from today.
AmEx Platinum - was £575 p.a. now £650 p.a.
Amex Preferred Rewards Gold - was £160 p.a. now £195 p.a.

Those are some hefty increases! I downgrade the Platinum card to the Gold card last year as I wasn't getting much value from Plat. The Gold card actually offers more MR points on travel purchases compared to the Plat card!
