Hi
Anyone any experience of Executive Club being a little flexible on yearly cut off dates for tier points ?

I will be taking a return trip to SEA a week outside my cut off date for my tier point reset. Had this been within, it would have qualified me for silver.

Is it worth me calling and speaking to them nicely or is it black and white ??

Cheers

Given our recent experience, I would say unlikely.

MrG recently made a return trip to BDA with BA, the return leg of the trip being 3 days after his cut off date for tier points. His return flight would have qualified him for Silver, but, alas, his account was reset to zero and he is still a lowly Blue executive card holder, like me!

Hope you have better luck :D

don't get me started on this. I had 40 tier points added and taken away on the very same day because of the points reset!

Sounds like I will be better keeping them for the new membership year, at least it gives me a complete year to reach the next tier.

On flyertalk there is an official BA lurker handle is (BA Executive Club) maybe worth a PM to her.I would think a week after the reset is pushing it though.

Just got to speak to Exec Club staff, a very nice lady explained that they have a 2 week 'grace' period for tier points missing an upgrade threshold which can be applied 'at their discretion'.... as a result she has very kindly moved me up to BA Silver :)

Cheers
