Interesting also to see the increase in frequency to Barbados and St Lucia...

There were rumours that one of the new routes out of Gatwick would be the Maldives which would have been great. What a shame. Still interesting that BA feel new longhaul B&S destinations are viable in the current climate.

The Dominican Republic and Jamaica are seeing strong growth as desintations and the PUJ route in particular will be a godsend to the Dom Rep in its bid to change its image as just a cheap and cheerful destination.

Well BA are really taking this to VS at the moment.

Hot on the heals of LAS comes MBJ. Will be interesting to see what happens. BA pulled out a couple of years ago due to poor yields but obviously think that yields have returned.

Dominican Republic is a shock, I would have thought it would be over saturated with the likes of Thomson and Thomas Cook.

Perhaps this is BA taking advantage of a lack of capacity to Dominica and Jamacia due to the collapse of XL?

MLE surely has to be a VS destination? Sadly though a lack of aircraft could stop that and the timing of a MLE flight.
