Thank god it wasn't sucked into the engine!!!
Sad that common sense not being applied by all the folks owning these things - the early adopters seemed to have some concept of safety but with them now being so widely and cheaply available some people are seeming to treat them as simply toys so applying less thought about how to use them safely, fingers crossed the frequent near misses remain misses and the increasing strikes are nowhere near anything critical.
I hope not to see any doing any low-level hovering over the traffic on the M20/M26/M25/M23 this afternoon as my optional Ack-Ack trailer is not fitted to my car this week!

I think the Law will stop turning a blind eye to drone flyers now.
Its a pity, because some of the work/video from some flyers is amazing.
I used to fly RC aircraft & had to fly them away from public spaces.
It may force drones out to that way - unless they get a licence from the local authority or something.

Charge them with attempted murder if they are caught and that might deter the morons that fly these things into the paths of planes. My fear is that, as we often do in this country, we will react after an "event". The CAA seems to be giving the equivalent of a frosty stare at the moment and not pressing for legislation on this. Registration, and an operators license should be the minimum, but I fear that genie is out of the bottle now.
It was like that when I got here, Sir!
