That was strange!! Moved over here and posts were a bit dated! Glad someone posted!

Thanks everyone for the work involved in moving!

It is highly likely that you'll come across some bugs, as moving 3 years worth of code in 8 hours is bound to include a couple of errors. Please feel free to post them here.

As you may have noticed, I gave the site a new design in the transfer. Hope this makes things easier to navigate, read and generally more 'modern'...

Is everything working correctly for others?

I have lots of red crosses on the forum page, and the boxes under names in the left hand column is blank. Sorry, don't know official names for things![:I]

Ignore last bit, the 'member' box is ok now!

Can you right click on those crosses, and 'view image' - it should then give you the full path of the missing image in the address bar. Paste those in here, and I'll fix those problems...

Thanks,

Pete

Still got the crosses. Nothing happened when I r clicked and then the view pic - just returned to red cross. It is the small pic of 2 pages that is missing.

By the way the site looks good!

Thanks Pete [y]

On clicking on any itinerary flights at the bottom of the forum I get the following:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

/forum/topic.asp, line 1887

also getting a similar error when clicking the spell checker icon:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

/forum/pop_spellcheck.asp, line 94

Thanks James. Think those two are squished now.

Sorry found some more [:I]

(although not technically errors) - when you click the private messages or members links at the top of the forum it takes you to the right pages but on the old V-Flyer.

Well, other than the site being BA-blue, I have to say I like it more than the old one.

Yeah, maybe a bit more red and purple would be nice. And i'm not sure about the grey green and ornage colours at the top of the main window...

Still I hold my hands up and say that I wouldn't have the passion or time to invest in the site like Pete and the mods do so yeah its still all great [y]

Pete - In a number of forums the counter for number of people reading a topic is missing. The counter for number of replies is working but not number of readers. One example is the topic started by GJ last night in the V-Flyer Website forum. (This forum[:p])

I am sure that's an easy one for you to iron out.....:D

Yup.. spotted that. Might not be something I can fix until I can get back to the UK though...

Pete - One more for when you get back. I have looked at 3-4 a/c in the Aircraft Database. Most of the info is missing for their recent movements.

I am sure this doesn't fall to the top of your list of priorities, but hey you are aware of it!!!!

Enjoy the trip....:D

I am still getting 'site is busy' or site unavailable errors. When it does this the URL at the bottom still says v-flyer.com rather than brit flyer (or whatever).
