I don't wish to be too snarky, but after a bit of research, it looks like the fare codes page has slightly out-of-date information; possibly an old version was uploaded in the transfer to the new design. Specifically, for I am not just an avowed bottom-of-the-barrel Y-class man but a bottom of the bottom-of-the-barrel N-class man, the claim on that page that N fares attract no mileage doesn't match the rubric at the bottom of this official page. Using Forum search, it turns out that according to the third post to this thread, the change only came in at the start of March. Please could you unconfuse us poor N-obodies by updating the fare codes page accordingly?
Unrelatedly, given the change to the URL and to the logo (no longer the whole flying with Virgin thing), can we expect discussion of BA, BMI and the rest to become on-topic slightly more widely soon?
