Hi All

Just made the full time switch to Mac ...... I'm using a new MacBook ...... and how pleased I am !! :D

Have one problem that I would like to be able to occasionally use a 3G data card... does anyone know of any kind of adaptor that will enable the use of a PCMCIA card with a MacBook ie a USB adaptor of some kind ..... I have hunted high and low and cannot source anything.

Any ideas guys & girls

Cheers

Mark :)

Don't know of a USB to PCMCIA adaptor. How about using a bluetooth phone as the 'modem' to access the network?

Sorry can't help with the tech query, but pleased to hear you're enjoying the new Mac.

For you state-siders Verizon now offers a DingleBerry (BlackBerry) 7130e that offers the option to have speeds around 700 to 800 kps via a USB cord hooked up to the BlackBerry. Works like a charm and cheap.

Vodafone have announced they have a USB compatible 3G HSDPA data card, it's an integral device so no converter cable as with the device linked above.

Have a look here.
