Hi,

We sell these at work - not seen one running yet, but it does look nice - do also consider the Samsung F series though.

Regards

We have the W series Sony, and it is fantastic. The one you are looking at is similar to ours but with the built in surround and a few other enhancements, I would recommend the W series in a flash so the one you are looking at should be superb.

Happy shopping and watching

(Oh and if you don't already have a PS3 or Blue ray player, make sure you get one, the picture is just amazing)

Well thanks to my big ole boss I am now sat watching a Sony
KDL40V3000 and yup its amazing, not used to all the different settings yet. I had no idea LCD's could look so good and at the moment its just on standard SKY, no break up, no fuzzy stuff even football looks cool.

Word has it a playstation might be coming my way...cross fingers and bring on ratchet and clank, lol.

We've got an earlier Sony KDLS40A12U and I can describe it in one word...fantastic!

To divert the topic away from Sony TV's and in reference to PS3/Blu-Ray I feel that Blu-Ray will end up having the advantage over HD-DVD simply because of the PS3 - similar to how DVD's were able to wipe out VHS through PS2s that were cheaper than DVD Players for a while.

Good choice EGG. You really need to get Sky HD now, the football is brilliant on it (I can't stand to watch it on normal Sky now) and it really does enhance/upscale the picture quality on all the channels too.

Also have the Sony KDLS40A12U and Sky HD and both carry a full recommendation from me. The football looks great on it.
