We fly tomorrow, Have gone to manage my booking online, and the seating configuration isn't showing on any site. I have booked row 23defg and it also shows a row 24 behind us. This row does not appear on any of the websites??? It shows an upper deck not sure what type of 747 this is?

The seating plans I think are not available under 24 hours before departure. Could that be the problem?

Have a great trip.

That could well be it Graham, what with Twilight Check-in and OLCI. I think Rachie is on LGW-MCO so that would make it a 747. The seat map says there is no row 24 Rachie.
Orlando here we come

have checked in, there is definately a row 24, the check in lady says it could be a plane borrowed from Heathrow? It's vs027 tomorrow. Instead of a toilet there is now an extra row of seats.

Very strange indeed.

The only A/C which does have a row 23 in Y is an LGW/MAN 744. As you say though there is no row 24 in Y on any VS A/C according to both V-Fyer and VS seat maps, unless VS have squeezed in a extra new row of Y setas on the LGW 744 A/C recently.

On LHR 744 A/C Y starts at row 30.

Expertflyer is showing a row 24 for your VS27 flight tomorrow (it is an LGW/MAN 744 as there are only 14 seats in J on the Expertflyer seat map). It's also pretty full too in all cabins!!

Have a great time :)

The 2 B744s recently transferred from LHR to LGW (G-VTOP & G-VAST) do not have a restroom on the right hand side behind the first few rows of Economy. That is why there is a row 24 showing on the seat map.

Hope this helps. :)

thanks for all your replies. Strange that the seat config wasn't listed, but if it is one of the transferred Heathrow planes will be pleased as the IFE is better with games to keep all the kids busy! Very tempted to upgrade as they were offering PE for £199 at airport. Have always flown PE in past, but because this is our 4th holiday this year decided to cut back. Hope I don't regret it. Will post a report on our return.

So if this is true, is this a way of telling we will have odyssey IFE (providing the a/c doesn't change)?

sean, I would presume so, because when I looked 2 days ago it still showed the normal LGW config, however this am it had changed to show the extra row in economy.

So if this is true....

I know my imagination can sometimes run amok, but I can assure this information is true! I've flown on these aircraft recently. [^]
