I beleive the 2nd UCS A343 should be due back any day now. The A343's do seem to be taking a bit longer to re-fit compared to other A/C, not sure why this is though.

G-VFAR now appears to be back in service as of Sept 1st:

VS814P From Dublin, Ireland G-VFAR 340 01/09/2005 19:08
VS0601 To Johannesburg, S Afr. G-VFAR 340 01/09/2005 23:08

So there's now 2 UCS fitted A343's in service.

Where are they flying? I need to take VS23 toward the end of Sept and was hoping they would be done.

By the end of September, hopefully 3 of the A343s will be completed. There is no guarantee that you will get one of these on the VS023 as there will still be 5 A343s without the UCS.

You'll be better off taking the VS007 if you want a flight to LAX with the UCS.

I'm taking the VS024 on 11 Oct and the booking system shows a suite ... I think LAX is a high priority route so there's a better chance. Hope you're lucky but as others have said, do the VS7/8 to be more certain
