S class - 2 x PE seats.

Stuck in Premium (although you COULD upgrade your S to a G to get into Upper and leave the missus there ;) ), but it really is the most cost effective use of the companion.

Is the S fare available online or do I need to ring up for one? Anyone have an average cost of an S to NY and back?

Completely depends on the time of year.

An example for November would be around £900 excl. tax (plus the "tax" on your companion's fare)

They are available online, but personally, I'd call in just to check it's an S fare you're buying as the online engine won't tell you explicitly.

To be honest, with the current sale fares - it might not seem TOO attractive at the moment. (ie: two PE revenue tickets for November would only be £1320 INCLUDING taxes...)
