The official richard branson BOM flight was on an A346, and apparently this had to get prior approval for BOM.

The issue is the length of plane, as it is longer than a 747, and the overhang presents issues on the BOM stands.

Don't know why its going back (but is undoubtably good news for BOM passengers) - perhaps some VS staff could help out on this one (new A346 compatible stands perhaps?)....
