With the announcement of the Havana and Bahamas routes, where else in the world would you like to see Virgin flying to?

Personally, id like to see Mauritius and Kenya but i would be interested to see other people opinions

Hi,
I would like to see Toronto and Chicago mainly, as these are places we really want to go to and we want to fly Virgin! They used to go to Toronto and Chicago before and I hope they start up again!

Hi,

Toronto again ( or any of the Canadian cities really ( Vancouver). Also Dubai would be nice ( this might not be a pipe dream according to the crew on VS19 on 7th APril)

Regards

Tampa would be good for me

I too second the vote for Tampa.

Currently Mrs Buns and myself have to travel to Orlando and stay there overnight before picking up the car the next day.

Tampa and the Gulf Coast has a great deal to offer and with the opportunity to go head to head with BA, I am sure VS would pick up a lot of business.

You'd be surprised at how many routes Virgin looks at annually - there is a lot of maths and analysis behind each one. Filling planes is one thing, but at what cost and competation etc.

MSY would be interesting as its not possible to fly direct from the UK at the moment - quite a popular Conference route. The Morial Conference Centre tehre is supposedlyt he longest building in the US - I know it takes some time to walk the length of it as I regularly had to over the last two years.

Personally, ORD and YYZ being revived gets my vote. For brand new route, SEA would be awesome for me.....

Thanks,
Richard

I'd love to see YVR added to the list. Currently this route is a duopoly with Air Canada and BA.

Vancouver is a great city, and would give me some more good reasons to go skiing in Whistler [8D]

Am shocked that no one flies to New Orleans direct. I have been there before and its a great place. I think Virgins biggest issue with introducing more flights is to fulfil demand, especially on those routes already served by BA.

Dubai sounds good to me too :-)

DUBAI look more likely;););););)

ORD had too much competition from American Airlines and United, ORD is MASSIVE hub for these airlines.

Difficult for a 'small' airline such as virgin to compete i think

How about Moscow, Singapore, Kuala Lumpor, Bejing, Bankok & Hawaii?

Also, not a new destination, but they should keep the DEL route. With more and more UK businesses outsourcing to India (like my own) it makes sense to try to combat BA on the India business routes (perhaps even adding a route to Mumbai).

I'd like to see YYZ, YYR and SEA. I would also like to see ORD but I take declansmith's point about it being a massive hub for American Airlines in general

Denver.
A return of the Toronto route would be good.
Bangkok.
Christchurch.

VS are not going to fly to Singapore given SQ's share holding! And they already do have a codeshare to Kuala Lumpur with Malaysian so would need to break this arrangement to fly there. Bangkok would be interesting given that it would give an alternative kangaroo route...

Personally I'd love to see SEA/YVR, more places in Africa and an expansion of the Asian routes. And one of my wishes for expanding the Caribbean (Havana) looks like it has already come true. [8D]

Oooh yes Kenya! Friends are just opening up a dive centre there so we need a way of getting there which earns FC miles!
