Just got this today;

Dear pixuk

20,000 is the number of bonus miles you can look forward to everytime you take a full fare round trip in Upper Class (J or D booking classes) between 10 May and 10 September 2004 inclusive.

And they're just the start, because you'll still be earning the usual flying club miles for an Upper Class flight on top of them (plus your 25% flying club gold member bonus). So your minimum total earnings for a round trip will add up to a massive 34,080 miles to spend on the reward of your choice.

Rewards like:
Two round trip flights with bmi to selected European destinations.
A Premium Economy companion fare.
A First Class ticket on Eurostar to Paris or Brussels.
To take up this offer, all you have to do is:

Before you fly, register for this offer at http://www.virgin.com/reasons

Take a flight in Upper Class (J or D booking classes) between 10 May and 10 September 2004 inclusive. (All flying club miles will be automatically added to your account.)

Decide what to spend your flying club bonus miles on.

Yup, just had the same drop into my inbox - registered, it could well be a nice incentive :)

Given that UC tickets were commanding a free companion ticket in the promotion a couple of years ago (I took advantage of this twice), I spy the offers getting less lucrative as a result of the upturn. Oh well, I guess we should be glad VS are doing so well they don't need to make the offers so good!

I had the same problem of being locked out. Call to flying club resolved this on line and they do not know why this is happening!

I tried to register but it said that my account was already registered. Perhaps someone will kindly add their miles to my account as well!
