Decker,

Just could not get used to that accelorator pedal, always gave me ankle ache after a few miles.

Had some awful quality problems as well...[:(!]

Now where on the list of top selling cars is teh 3 series BMW - theres jsut so many of them!

And if I ahd a £1 for every 318 I have seen debadged, hello you only have one exhaust! Its when they insist on sitting in the outside lane - hell, even my 1.8T A3 was 2 seconds quicker off the mark.

Thanks,
Richard

Debadged i can handle (after all, no one is lying) , it's the ones with the M3 badge slapped on the back that make me laugh (and you don't see so many of them these days - really bad with the previous shape).

The current M3 is hideously expensive to imitate successfully - so many body panels are different. Good job too.

Some ^%$£^ nicked the side grills off my M3, no doubt to adorn an old model 316. Saw one the other day with fake M3 wheels (the real ones won't fit any other 3-series), far too many M3 badges and an M3 bonnet... must have raided the local breaker's yard.

The M3 is definitely the best car I've had. And I've owned everything from a Merc S-class to a TVR Tuscan.

you need to get out a bit more then BC :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Actually, the only thing I had nicked off my BMW (Swines could have done the job properly and got rid if the whole car for me) was the chromed wheel air caps, ended up buying some black plastic ones, no one wanted them :D

I had a few Porsches in my time but now I'm a little more responsible (only one speeding endorsement currently ;))I drive a 4.2 XK8, it's a great car, not the all out performance of a Ferrari of Porsche but a lovely long legged tourer, not too sluggigh with 62 coming uo in 6.1 sec and (as other are) governed down to 155mph.

Never had anything nicked off this one or my two previous Jags, however my wife had a Peugeot 1.9 GTI and the dam thing was a thief magnet, badges, spare wheel, broken into... It was a great little fun car but a real headache.

Safe to say I've not had much nicked off my car, apart from the aerial (for some strange reason) - I'm with you on the speed though, 0-60 in 6.1.....days :D

My car:

Is that mini fluffy-dice hanging inside?

Part-time hairdresser by any chance?

:)

Thanks,

Nope - it was a mini-rabbit, since replaced by a mini-Bradford City kit-air-freshener-type-thing :)
