Hello,

I flew YYZ-LHR in BA Club World ( 747-400) arriving at LHR at 610am.
After visiting the arrivals lounge I connected up to the 910am LHR-EDI flight.

After waiting 30mims at EDI my bags had not come off ( together with around maybe 20 other people's) so I headed to the BA luggage desk before eveyone else did) and they told me that the case was apparently at LHR but had no record of it being loaded onto the EDI flight and took my details for deliviery later today ( hopefully).

Disapointed that even with a 3 hour layover bags were not transfered sucessfully between T4 & T1.

Hi TBS

Sorry to hear about your lost luggage. Are you going to post the story over on the BA board at FT? ;);)

Hi,

Already posted the story on the BA board.

PS My overall impression, the entire VS UC product knocks the spots of BA NCW.:D

Full comparison will follow in course.

Sorry to hear about your luggage (again) TBS - that has got to be every travellers worst nightmare - touch wood, it's not happened to me yet with any airline.

Hi,

Bags finally came around 4pm today ( 30 hours late approx).

I think I will write a small letter to BA expressing my disapointment that with 3 hours they cannot transfer baggage)

At least it could have been worde and happened on the outbound 9 not likely as I collected bags at LHR for the overnight stay prior to YYZ)

Definitely :D especially the new "enhanced" east coast sleeper service.Ó Enhanced" translates into no hot meal on the flight and bugger all staff to serve you a drink I think not.

So the advert needs updating then?

More beds, More Destinations, More Often, More Luggage Lost.

TBS - just mention that you never have the problem with VS :) or maybe you could mention that a VS person approached you whilst you were checking in for your flight and asked if you needed help with your luggage :D

Thanks,
Richard

Hey TBS maybe BA would stop loosing your bags if you stopped putting those v-flyer tags on them? :D

Hi,

Just an update.

I did write a small letter to BA after my luggage returned and today I did notice on my online statement " Ex Gratia-Service Recovery" of 2000 miles.:)
I personally think that is a nice touch from BA considering it happend on my return leg.( and it would be £600 on 2 UK full fare domestics to earn the 2k miles.)
