I did the Experian 30 day trial. They cleverly didn't provide a link on the site to cancel - had to call. Interesting service - seems that because I'm on the electoral roll but with instructions not to allow my name and address to be used for marketing purposes I show up on Experian as not being on the electoral roll!

Interesting about the Experian "Credit Expert" cancellation policy!
Re the electoral roll - that's not right. Basically, there are 2 copies of the electoral roll - the one used for voting & verification purposes (the "full" register) and one that can be sold to marketing companies and the like (the "edited" register), but you have the choice of having your details removed from that (there's a box to tick on the electoral registration form).

I'm on the edited register too and appear on both Experian & Equifax's databases :)

'spose I ought to query it - it might affect my credit rating :D though last time I checked my score it was high enough...
