The infamous Mesa Airlines is filing for Chapter 11. Problems with UA and Delta are cited in the article. A pretty poor regional carrier if truth be told. This is not really related to the current economic climate, more to how Mesa itself operates. If anything the big carriers are shedding more and more routes and turning them over for operation to regional subsidiaries.
