as many of you Know I've travelled a lot on SQ recently!!
Since I used a whole load of their lounges I Thought I'd review them:D
LHR T3 (got in with *A Gold)
has two sections to the lounge at T3 Raffles and First
As Raffles was very busy the lady allowed me to use the First Lounge!
First
has a self service food selection with hot and cold choices
Has a snooze zone
Doesnt have smoking facilities (need to use raffles)
Raffles
Poped up here when Michael needed a smoke - Its bigger than the first lounge but doesnt have the same amount of leather seating or food choice
SIN
Actually used all three SQ lounges at SIN!!
First (Got in with F ticket)
Wow biggest lounge I've ever been in!
Has a wide selection of food inc Hagen Dazz ice cream
a massive snooze section including massage machines
a smoking room bigger than the lounge at KUL!
Tiger beer on Tap!
Raffles (got in as a favour (Mike had a J ticket though)
Raffles was very simular except no snooze/massage facilities
The food choice was still good although the ice cream was generic
Premier (got in with *A Gold)
This is the lounge that SQ use for its *A gold FCAU customers??!!
Its very simular to a generic lounge ie limited food facilities basic bar only 2 pc's with internet
This lounge is very basic (and disapointing) when comparing to other SQ lounges at SIN (this is the only SQ lounge in SIN that *A Gold and VSAU can use)
KUL (F ticket)
One lounge serving both First and Raffles on the small side (step to the toilets)
Limited food - but some hot available.
SYD - Raffles (got in with *A Gold)
This was a nice lounge and had a seperate office area for PCS etc
Mostly Cold food - no sleep zone -good view of nearby gates
There was a First lounge here too but I didnt get to try it
Thats it for now I'll add more detail as I think of it..
You might notice I used my *A card to get into some of these lounges..
I had issues using my VSFC AU Card (They wouldn't accept it) that I have flagged with FC.
