Orlando Hotel

Hi all,

Off to Orlando 3rd to 13th March 2005,UCS yes yes yes !!!! , I am trying to find a suitable hotel, have stayed in the Doubletree near universal before it is ok. Anyone recommend any other good hotels near that end of I Drive we are not planning to get a car and will us the I Ride and provided transport at hotels to get around so want one on I drive or very near ??? Also anyone aware of any special deals available to FC members.

Hard Rock Hotel, or the Portofino Bay hotel are good, Give you early entry into Universal as well.

The Wyndham Orlando Resort is very nice! We have stayed there, its right on I Drive, has shuttle busses to the parks, isn't very far from Universal or SeaWorld.

Also its more of a resort, nice bar and pool in the middle and you wouldn't think you were right on I Drive. We really enjoyed it, one recomendation if staying at a Wyndham hotel join their By Request scheme - we had a nice room upgrade and it was our first time staying with them!
