Post Christmas Party 2008 - Concorde & LaserQuest

I was SO nervous at our first V-Flyer meet.
Totally pointless, they were all such a bunch of softies.

Looking forward to seeing all the old faces and meeting all the new ones for the first time [:D]

If you loose me, I'll probably be in the New Union [:p]

This one is sure gaining popularity really fast with 20 members (including myself) attending. Should be a good 'un!

Flying out of Heathrow ('cos it's closer for me). On the 17:00 bmi flight on the 25th, and returning on the 13:45 flight on the 27th. All for the princely sum of 1 each way! (Taxes, etc, unfortunately, make that a total fare of 60 quid; but I suppose Gordon needs the money, doesn't he?)

The Friday is currently 50-50 for me now. Depending on the outcome of my leave pleadings it will either be drive up or fly ex-Sou on flybe.

I am actually flying into MAN from MCO on 27th. Just don't think I will be to up for much.

Yup - I'm staying in the Residence Apartments for the weekend. Think there's a few others already booked, or looking at booking there too.

Those apartments look really nice. Think i will wait and see what most
people are doing then make a decision. Also want to try and get a twin

Just seen this on my local news.

Does anyone fancy a go at this. It's due to open Nov 16th and is next to the Trafford Centre [:?]

I've only ever tried dry-slope skiing (and even then I've only ever done it once [:I]) but do fancy a go on proper snow sometime.
