From the local rag ... It just so happens that this

has been scheduled to coincide with your trip. Quite appropriate, if not exactly in the 'spirit' of half-marathon running.

Well only if you selected the option and paid the money IIRC. (Different this year)
Sadly I'll not be joining you now - plans have fallen through. I will be with you in spirit thought.
Maybe next year....
Maybe next year....

So, I've had a new brainwave...
(Having checked with J, it seems like it might have SOME mileage too [:w])
How about, the day before the race, we charter a big sailing boat and go for a morning 'stroll' around the bay, under the GG Bridge, down to Pacifica and back? [y]
If enough are interested, I'll make some calls - it's NOT that expensive (think $400-700 for 1/2 day for the whole boat, all in).

Anyone want to go to the Giants/Chicago Cubs game on Friday? AT&T Park is pretty tight.

Possibly - what are the timings Ben?
7:15PM. Games last about 2 to 3 hours. I normally leave after the seventh inning (about 2/3th of game). It is a great ball park. Excellent game day environment.
