Gotta love the comments:

Or they've learnt from the BSE crisis and decided that it's unsafe to feed cattle to cattle?

Ahh the 'chicken or beef?' scenario. Chicken what? Pie, pasta, lasagna? I know it all tastes the same. [}:)]

That is surely simply down to cost saving? Why offer it in J and F otherwise? Unless they are saying they don't get a diverse international passenger set travelling in the premium cabins. If BA is anything like VS, the number of choices will be the damn same in Y as it is in J/F.

It's a bit like "white or red?" when it comes to wine... [:?]

I'm sure Howard LOVES those conversations. [}:)]

I think its reasonably sensible to have two main meals that the majority of passengers can eat than to have two choices that rule out many on religious and personal grounds. It may save BA a fortune on SMPL's too.

Thanks,
Sarah

Well there is that - beef is meant to be pink in the middle. None of this cooked up boot practice that I got last time I attempted 'beef' in Upper.
