Just checking out a possible excursion to BGI in Sept 2010 and the difference between BA Club 2 adults and 2 child v VS UC (Z) is a whopping 1758GBP.
FFS VS get a grip on your prices or this will be another long haul trip you will have lost from this family.

PS. It really hurts now that both jnrs need their own seat[xx(]

Least they'll get the option of earning some miles..as opposed to frustratingly sitting in the seat & earning none!! [:(!]

Methinks Virgin are sitting back, waiting for all those rebooks if the BA strike goes ahead...

...and I don't think Virgin will want to discount their product a 11 months in advance yet... whereas BA need the cashflow.

You have to do what we did earn VS gold, or switch to BA and form a household account. In any case I still preferred paying the child price.

We have the BA household account which does allow the miles from kids tickets to be collected[y]. Certainly on the BA European routes Daniel's ticket is the exact same price as our own adult[:(!] When they reach 12 they probably won't want to sit with us anyway[:D]
