I thought I had researched the hand baggage policy for BA flights to the US and thought they had gone back to 2 items in Club World. I even printed off the info from their site.

I have just checked in online, and the first thing on the check in form, before progressing is that it is only 1 bag!!

Does anyone know what is really the case?

It is also similar with the weight allowance being different in different areas of their site too but I have found out that it its back to 3x32Kg, though we only really need the option to go a couple of Kg over the 23Kg that is mentioned in places!!!!(Only 3 bags between us!!)

It is back to normal I believe, but I was going to suggest you ask over on FlyerTalk then see you already had!

Phone the EC and there is a recorded announcement saying it's back to normal, 2 bags for CW.

Thanks.

I resisted joining yet another forum though I did read quite a bit over there as this is our first BA flight. But, I was a bit concerned about the hand baggage so joined last minute to ask!!!! Not sure how many folk here frequented BA so would be able to help!!!

We are back to Virgin in October, but the sale price for this trip was brilliant with BA, even with the connecting flight.

Will be interesting to compare the flights for future bookings!

Thats good to hear, does that include a laptop bag as well as the normal cabin bag?

We fly out Tuesday to TPA and have our seats already so at least I don't have to worry about booking in asap on Tuesday. (Unless they change the aircraft of course!)

Sorry I didn't get back here to answer that last question as you are off today. For others it is a carry on bag and laptop bag or handbag.

Just wanted to say everything an very very smoothly yesterday. We liked CW, the seats, CC, food and service, and all things being equal, with BA flying direct to MCO from MAN then we would travel with them again definitely. If the price is right we would do as this time and change in London.
