BA looking at LGW-LAS

On various other boards there has been some whisperings that BA are looking to start LGW-LAS in 2009.

Would be a very intereting move and places more pressure on VS. Goes without saying that BA must be looking at how VS are doing on the route.

Pressure to step up service on the LGW routes for VS...

Well I have a feeling that the LAS route will be moving to LHR next year, so that would put a crimp in BA's plans..of course just a Scrooge feeling....I am still hearing the odd rumor about US starting LAS - LGW as well, but not until they get more planes.

I also heard a whisper that LAS would be moving to LHR, and that was from a member of staff at VS. It certainly makes sense, as they seem to have no problem selling the premium classes on those flights.

If so can we assume that is what VS will use the JM slots for?!?
