Am travelling through Terminal 4 on Wednesday and was wondering which of the lounges there is the best. The website lists the following:

Gate 1 Terraces Lounge
Gate 10 Concorde Room
Gate 10 - Terraces – Lounge Pavilion

Cheers

TBH, they are all much of a muchness. Go down to G10 and visit each of the 3 lounges in Terraces complex (providing you have access).

Concorde Room is only for customers travelling in First.

Assuming you don't get concord access you have a choice of better food or the spa, or indeed both if you pins are OK (its only a few minutes.

I think this bit from flyertalk.com sums it up quite succinctly;

At Heathrow T4 there are two sets of lounges. One (by Gate 1 Ð ÒThe Gate 1 LoungeÓ, it is no longer strictly speaking branded as a Terraces) offers a multi-level Ôbusiness classÕ style-lounge complex. The other, by Gate 10, contains the Concorde Room, Spa, Terraces and the FIRST lounge. If you only have Terraces access and are not bothered seeking a Spa treatment, you may find the Gate 1 Lounge better as it is normally quieter and has an excellent hot food operation called the ChefÕs Theatre not found in the Gate 10 lounge. Of course, if youÕve got enough time you can try both Terraces lounges!

Although universally hated on FT the first class lounge next to the spa on the lower level of the gate 10 complex has all the best wine and fizz for you to pour yourself,plus the food options from the CR.Can get very full but I have always managed to get a seat,you will need a first class ticket or a OW emerald card to access.
Gate 10 FC
Gate 1 Terraces
Gate 10 Terraces
Concorde room(can anyone guess who that is on the phone)

Gingerflyer, what did you think of the lounges? Off there myself soon, so welcome any comments. Hope they aren't too run down due to the move to T5 though!
