BA Share Price and shareholders discount

BA shares seem to be not doing so well at the moment, may be a good time to invest in 200 shares so you can get the 10% discount off any published fare. Of course, prices could go down even further, or go up, so take proper advice, not from someone off a forum! [:o)] Guess it depends how much travel on BA you are likely to make.

Interesting ... had a quick look at the stats. Closing price today was 217p making this an investment of £434. The qualification last year was holding on 2nd November so I guess you'd have to have similar this year before being issued with a coupon. You get 1 coupon for yourself and up to eight others accompanying you.

Certainly is something I'd never though of before.

So you only get one discount a year? Does the discount apply for British Airways ADR holders (BAIRY.PK)?

No the discount is for all trips 10% off of any published fare November-November as long as you hold 200 shares on the record date in November, for the holder and up to 8 others.Business travel is not allowed and no MFUs allowed on discounted fares.Fares are booked online on a share holders webpage.

Cheers for that, that's certainly not how thispage read to me but I'll bow to those with more knowledge (or who already hold said shares! )
