Well, I just found a PE flight to NYC on BA for the last weekend in September for just over 500. VS has the same flight for nearly 900. So i REALLY hope VS to follow suit pretty soon! LOL!

Woo hoo - looking good. Return in WT+ is 550 to NY in November; was 840 on BA yesterday and still is on VS...

Hope VS follow - didn't think much of WT+ last time!

It appears to be a WT+ sale so far as the CW prices are making ones wallet quiver with fear.

Well I've just taken the plunge and booked WT+ for end of October for 536. Virgin in Y for the same dates currently 760. My dates are fixed and it's an excellent price in my eyes - just won't be able to bear looking at the Virgin sale prices when they go live!

If you're happy with the price you have paid with BA, then don't look at any other prices! [:p]

I was after a flight to Orlando in Jan and unsuprisingly, the VA 'sale' fare of 355 in Economy only goes up to December :(
Not sure whether to wait and hope for another sale, pay the 70-80 extra, or just go with BA although I'll lose my tier points the month after the flight anyway. Did really want a nice cheap VA flight to get me started on my way to Ag and hopefully Au!

Virgin were busy overnight and now have discounted fares which seem to match BA dates etc... surprise surprise..

Well I had a look at the VS PE prices this morning (even though I promised myself I wouldn't).

For the same dates, if I took the late flight out to New York (arriving Newark 11pm), it would have been 560, but for any of the earlier flights it was still 875.

Don't feel as bad for looking now.
