As you know folks, trip reports are very dear to my heart and I enjoy reading other people's almost as much as I like writing my own. They are a valuable and entertaining archive of VS (and other airline) experiences, and sometimes pretty indicative of service, issues (and menus!) for particular routes.

Would there be any value in having a more specific search for trip reports that allowed you to build a view of reports on a specific route? Or maybe even the ability to sort trip reports on the basis of route?

Just an idea... I think it would be great to see a list of all trip reports for, say, the VS19/20, in a single place.

That is precisely the reason I spend so long editting the titles of trip reports into a uniform format.:D:D

i.e. The headers all have the flight number in the VS*** format and the routes are all listed by their three figure code.

You can do a 'subject only' search in the TR section for either SFO or VS019 and it will bring up all TRs of that genre.

We did discuss splitting the VS TRs when we split the 'other airlines' reports into their own section, but decided against it as it would mean creating a new section for every route VS fly to.

Yep, I use search at the moment to get this kind of display, but it takes a fair few seconds (and hits the server something terrible), doesn't necessarily give calendar order of flights, and has no way of differentiating cleanly between various classes (people are not consistent regarding the use of Upper Class vs. UC etc). Browsing is, to my mind, a different user experience...
