Virgin Flyer Email?

Will there be any likelyhood of setting up a free/paid email account for users of the forum?

I know it consumes lots of space, but many boards offer this so i wondered if you had investigated this route at all?

I would be happy to have a '@virginflyer.com' email addy as the rest of mine are boring BT, Yahoo, Hotmail etc etc Im sure there are others out there who agree?

Hmmm... interesting idea. I'd need to look into that, although I'd have to do it in such a way that ensures it doesn't get abused by those engaging in Spam (which apart from being a pain in the ass, could get the site closed down). I think the biggest challenge is working how to script the setup of the email accounts (if you saw the control panel interface I have to cope with on the ISP, you'd understand that could be a problem;)) - but I'll do some research. Might be able to do it as a forward-only account, to avoid disk usage issues.

Have a look at http://www.everyone.net. I have free email setup on one of my sites http://www.tennisnet.org. Mine is more of a subdomain style but you can pay for a better service.

Took a look, but it would require transfering the MX control to them and then either paying or having their ad messages in the email. That might be a bridge too far
