It is like a nicorette patch, but helps one get over the additction to v-flyer ranther than nicoteen. You stick one on your thigh before bed. ;)

Very good Jeremy, I was totally oblivious to that one, thought it was something I could download to make it work better, d'oh.

It still isn't working hardly, for a minute it seems to be getting better then it just stops again.

OK All,

We're not entirely sure what happened yet, but it seems we were down from around 3pm until just now. (And yes, "down" as in "off")

We'll update you as soon as possible.

There are clearly MAJOR issues with the V-Flyer server.

Like Jeremy, I am confident that Pete will be doing all he can to resolve the issues.

Please bear with us.

Apologies to those who want to view the photo of the new Y seats, but as we had 50+ guests looking at it - there was probably smoke coming from our overworked server. I have therefore deleted it, at least for the time being.

I don't know if this is the only thing that has been causing the problems, but it can't have helped.

When Pete is back 'on air' maybe he will be able to offer a more permanent solution. I am still getting a few 'service unavailable' screens, so maybe we are not out of the woods yet. [:#]

Thank you all for your patience... normal service will be resumed as soon as possible... as they used to say on the BBC. :D

Sorry Mark. Didn't realise you were reading this thread. Here is the one from your era, old boy, so enjoy a little trip down memory lane..........

(Just in case anyone is unclear on the point, Mark is older than me. But he can be a bit sensitive about it, so don't mention it. Shusssh!)

Not a bad test card site Sarah (;)) but their claim to be the central source for test cards is misplaced. They don't even have the Black Prince Anglia version

A belated good luck in trying to eventually sort it out. I use IE6 and I've been having problems viewing this site for weeks. Some of the problems I've been having are that some of the shortcuts on the site do not diaplay and come up with the red 'x' that display whenever a pic does not display.

In the last few days the site has been really slow at times and 'Service Unavailable' messages I can't avoid argh!

I only bothered to post this now because other people have come forward with problems.

It's working perfectly for me now. I don't think making images available to members will solve the problem. People can still hotlink the images directly to another site, which still uses up bandwidth.
