Mind, you notice that just after I posted it seemed better this morning, there's script timeout, service unavailable, connection refused, etc...? [xx(] Grrr, typical!

Couldn't get on at all yesterday and today, until just now. "Service Unavailable" yesterday and "Server error" today.

Maybe the end of the world is upon us, nevertheless though, I haven't experienced anything broken on this forum for 2 days now.

You would of loved to have seen the look on Pete's face when I told him the site was playing up,then that Mike was going to go in and play with the admin section a little :D

I figured the server would be Linux, but Pete told me at the start of the wek they were MS,wont tell you how long I gave it till it would go flaky, but I was close, seems to be running ok now though.

LOL - does he not trust me? :D
Of course, not that I would do it anyway - the ramifications could be quite something ;)

Anyone else been having problems today? I have had a heck of a lot of "time outs" and so on. Sometimes it has been working fine, then I can't get into the site for about 15 mins and it says something about the site having too much traffic for it to handle.

It has been reported to the site hosts who are investigating it.

I have been having this for the last few days (maybe even a week). Doesn't seem to last very long.

The site has been very bouncy for me all evening. I'm forever getting error messages and sometimes the only way to resolve it is by exiting the site and returning once more - which means that the new topics icons are gone [:(]

Me too - 500.13 "web server busy" errors on every other page.

For a second, I thought it might be our friend out for revenge, but it seems very similar to that of a few weeks back... [V]

And how come Mike Smashing's pictures are showing posted at 00.01 on 21 September when it is not yet 23.30 on 20 September? [:0]

I haven't gotten any error message, although a couple hours it did take a good 5 minutes to load a page.

So I can report problems to the web host, if you get "Server Unavailable", "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)" or "500.13" errors, can you post the exact error, and time in this thread. If you see other errors, like ADO database, you can ignore those - that's just my sloppy programming ;)

Thanks

Pete

p.s. HL - the server is hosted in Europe, so its clock is an hour ahead of the UK.

To be fair, VA.com is also down this morning (as well as yesterday...)

I wonder what's happening [?]
