Hi Pix,

I have a couple of ideas that maybe you could setup or expand upon.

1) Based on BMI's daft but excellent mistake the other day on the Las Vegas flights. Would it be possible to setup something that if people found a superb offer they could PM yourself or moderators and you could send a news flash via email to people if an excellent offer comes up. You could add some sort of tick box to peoples profiles if they wanted news flash messages.

2) Since it seems like quite a number of people seem to book via VH myself included maybe it would be relevant to have a separate forum for this. Maybe one of the site members works for VH and could give us inside info and pre warn us of any special offers.

Hi Jason,

Two good suggestions. The second one can be implemented pretty quickly, and as long as the other mods have no objections can be done this week.

The first one will take a little longer to write (to ensure we don't start spamming people, and steps for getting off an email list are easy), but I like the idea. I can admit that there is currently a large re-design going on behind the scenes, so this suggestion can be added to the feature list.

We will discuss these in the Mods forum because the VH point concerns potential involvement of VH Staff and I don't want this being conducted in a public forum.

I will lock this thread down for now and we will post an update later.
