A few questions...

1. Tried to upload some photos to the website of the England flights... but I received a message "file too large" How do I fix this?

2. How can I get my Flying Club card as a logo under my name?

3. And... made a new signature, which should show up with this message. Is it ok to show the link to my FOF website. If not, I will remove.

I looked for the answers here, but did not find. If they are on the site, just point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark

Some answers :D

1. You need to reduce the size of the file to less than 120kb (see quote on upload page: "The maximum size of a file you can upload is 120K. Please save as JPG or GIF format and compress your file if necessary.")

2. Go to edit your profile and enter your flying club number in the space provided, then click Submit

3. I should think that's ok (you can also enter it in your profile page), not sure we've had that request before, but if there's a problem the editorial team will be sure to let you know ;)

BTW, am moving this to the V-Flyer Website forum, as it's more appropriate there :)

Cheers

Links to your websites are ok in your profile, but not in posts unless you're referring to something specific. Sorry to sound like a bit of a killjoy, but using your signature to advertise another site may encourage others to abuse the forums.

From the Forum FAQs

quote:The V-Flyer forums are provided as a free resource, and as such do have some restrictions on what is considered appropriate. The Moderators reserve the right to delete posts which are off-topic, offensive or blatant advertising. It is ok to include links to related sites in your posts, but simply posting 'visit my webpage' is blatant advertising. Continual abuse of the forums will lead to your account being locked. This may seem harsh, but the quality of these forums must be maintained for the enjoyment of others.

Thanks,

BTW, I've added http://takingflight.us to the Link menu above, since that's an appropriate place for it.

Thank you Gentlemen... I understand completely, and went to remove it, but it appears taken care of.

Thank you VERY much for adding us to your link page. That is terrific!
