Hi, as a newbie to the site, I am having trouble reading some peoples posts due to all the abreviations, is there a page anywhere with a list of them and what they mean?

e.g VS - does that mean Virgin schedule? I have worked out that UC is upper class, and I have just found out that economy is know as Y class, but there are so many and its all a bit confusing to someone who knows nothing about planes [:I]

Hiya Gixer

If you see an abbreviation you don't recognise, the strong chances are that it will be underlined. If it is underlined then hovering your mouse over it will show the full description.

It basically means it is a popular thread. may be it literally means that it is a much loved thread. Once a thread receive a certain number of replies it is tagged with the heart

You mean on the thread icon in the thread list of a forum (e.g. the "Whatever happened to the Y & W "improvements"?" thread in General Discussion)? Strange that - when I hover my mouse over the topic icon for that thread, I get a little yellow smart tag that says "Hot Topic" - just like "Sticky Topic" appears when I do the same for the "Sticky: Copyright: please read" thread :)

Cheers
