We headed staight to the lounge which was poor enough. Very dark and a bit cramped. I had a look at the menu for the flight which consisted of alot Asian dishes of things that I wouldnt eat(god does any airliner have a civilian option). So off I went to find a place to stock up on supplies for the flight. We found a chocolate shop which was good enough for me. Had a quick peep in the duty free to see the prices of the fags. I was impressed that they were as cheap as Dubai and informed the peeps back home that cheap fags are on way.
I then did a bit of filming around the airport mainly showing the price difference between Hong Kong and home. Went back to the lounge for another bit and collected some free 30min connexion by boeing vouchers for the onboard internet use. Soon we where called to gate 1 where once they saw our first class boarding passes, they ushered us through the crowds and straight onto the plane which was a 747-400 9V-SPE. I soon settled into 4A and was offered a drink and newspaper. We pushed back on time and the captain announced a flight time of 3hrs on the dot. After a short taxi and a short wait we were soon racing down runway 25 left.

So after take off the crew came around with eye shades and slippers. The drinks service began followed by the meal service soon after. They tried all they could to try and get me to eat some of their food but I was being stubburn and only had some bread. Krisworld was switched on pretty early which was avod but mine decided it wanted to play up on me so it had to be reset twice. Finally I caved in I tried a desert which was only half eaten by me out of respect. Went surfing on the net which was great fun. Watched a bit of Father Ted (legend) and listened to some Hard-Fi (of course). Soon it was time for landing and the crew prepared the cabin for landing around 10pm local time.

Now this was the fun part, somebody forgot compleatly to fill out the immigration cards claiming that they didnt know about it even after 4 announcements by the crew. This meant that we were last off the aircraft despite being next to the door as we had to fill in the cards. Also we lost our priority at immigration due to this. Breezed through and our bags were waiting for us on the belt. We were met by our driver and were in the hotel within an hour of landing.
All in all a pleasant flight even though I thought the seat was not that comfortable and the lounge at HKG was poor but the inflight service and internet was brilliant.
