STN-LAS-STN. My first trip with Maxjet, and I must say that I am now hooked. Virgin Atlantic will never again get my buisness. They should be ashamed of themselves. This airline sure knows how to take care of their passangers, must be due to having U.S. air crew. The food on board is nothing short of the best I have ever had on an aircraft, and the choice of wines is excelent. We were 4 hours late departing due to the bad weather in New York delaying the incoming plane, but we were given 20 each to spend airside, the fast track security is a dream. there was a 2 hour delay in getting people through, but we walked straight past them all!!! The lounge at Stansted is very nice, free wi-fi, nice snacks and top name liquors. you do not realise what a joy it is to only have 50-100 people on a plane until it comes to checking in, going through U.S. security, and collecting your bags. Everything is done within minutes. I was a bit worried about the cancelations I have heard about, but I think that has been ironed out with the canceling of the Washington departures until the 2 new aircraft come into commision. Something must be going right, as they have now added a third departure to Las Vegas per week. This is how I expect to be treated by an airline, in fact, this is how I USED to be treated, until the bean counters got hold of Virgin. I do not think I would choose Virgin Upper over this airline again, even with the clubhouse and flat bed. To me, service is more important, and Maxjet sure know how to deliver this. and all for the sale price of 600 each
