This trip report is courtesy of my son, so bad I thought he should write it on hear.

BA031 HKG - LHR

We had spent 3 weeks in Guangzhou on a school trip and now was the last day and time to go home. Our Flight was at 0030 so we spent the day in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour. Very nice we had a night boat trip saw all the lights and everything. Now for the AirTrain back the the Airport.

We arrived at Hong Kong Intl. Airport (The Airport Heathrow Aspires to be), not to mention tired but, the shopping and restaurants at Hong Kong Cheered us up. We were at gate 52 and boarded. I was in 28H, I stayed up to 1am to check us in online and so I got a bulkhead at 6ft 5 I need one. This time I was actually sitting next to a friend, unlike last time where BA just closed there eyes at pointed at the seat map.

We pushed back and everything was fine. We were hoping that our PTV's would not work since, last time mine didn't and I got bumped up to WTP. Once airbourne it was about 15 Minutes before the seatbelt sign went on. 15 mins after what you could call breakfast was served. One taste and it was in the bin. Although the orange juice was very nice.

PTV's worked (for a while) I managed to catch Disterbia, better than I thought. It was now the problems started, the PTV stopped working. I called a FA and he went to reset the system and told 'Do NOT Touch anything'. (I wonder what could go wrong). He came back tried to turn it on and nothing happened. He tried to offer me another seat, right near the back with no legroom. I told him that I would either like another bulkhead seat or an upgrade he told me to take it or leave it. I was angry and went back to my seat for a nap. When I woke up I called an FA to my seat again, surprise, surprise it was him he greeted me by saying 'Your really starting to piss me of'. I tried not to retaliate and told him could he reset my PTV. He said no and folded away without me asking. By now I was very angry, Luckily only 1 hr 30 mins left. We landed, once through security and immagration we had a 25 minute wait for our bags.

I have contacted BA and they are offering me a 60 High Life Voucher. I do not think this is enough.
Thanks For Reading.

I find it difficult to believe that the crew used exactly that phrase, certainly not without a great deal of provocation.
