It was a sunny afternoon and we picked up everyone that was going and made it over to the terminals. At first we entered the wrong terminal but we made our way over to the right one. We checked in in desk 55.
We then went over to the Millenium Link to look over the airfield, especially seeing Emirates 40 to Dubai depart, which looked like a 777 but would have most likely been an A330. We went over to the departure lounge, which was quite small back then. We went over to the International Pier (the outdated 1980's one) and we sat in our gate, in front of our PIA Airbus A310.
When we sat in the plane, I realised we had to sit in the front of the Economy Cabin. At the age of 6, you don't think that would be an issue, but on such an airline and aircraft, it would be the worst seat. Apart from a monitor at the top in front of us, there was nothing else to do apart from look to the side and sneak a peak out of the window.
Departure was pretty good, the climb scared be a bit. Before long, it was sunrise and the plane descended into Islamabad. We made a hard landing, and parked on the stand before disembarking the plane via a set of stairs and entering the terminal.
Sorry if there isn't enough coverage but this is my first trip report, so please leave your comments and questions!
