Through the fast-track security at the airport and then off to the Air France lounge. Finally they have got WiFi in there and it is free - thank goodness!!
The flight was called and it was the usual hike to the passport-controlled flight departure area (the UK being a non-Schengen country) and then a bus to the plane (which was back down at the other end of the terminal!).
After take-off it was the usual mid-morning "brunch" - cold meats, cheeses, eggs, salad and warmed rolls. This was very filling and a good range of food in it (I reckon better than the cooked breakfast option). This was washed down with several Diet Cokes and some tea. The return journey was spent working, sorting out stuff after the meeting. It seemed to pass very quickly and soon we were landing at LHR. The usual night-mare of a bus gate at T3 but at least I had checked in a bag which was already going round when I got there.
The usual BA Club Europe service - one plus point this time is that the lounge has got free WiFi
