The courtesy coach deposited us outside the curb side checkin for AA and after paying $60 for 2 bags we were heading through security and again wondering how when you queue in parks the Americans get very excited about their "lines" but at the airports it seems whoever pushes the most gets through quicker

We were directed to what looked like the newer part of the airport after a ride on the train and to the gate where a Boeing 757 was waiting for us.
After a short delay boarding started and after pushing back with the safety video starting, the plane "stalled"
What actually happened was the apu failed and we were in darkness. The Captain came on to explain the issues, that we might need to go back to the gate if he couldn't get an engine started and that even though he was "more than confident he could find Orlando today" they would have to reprogram the flight computer

We did get started and after a while we were airborn and catching up time. Infact the flight was that short, the seat belt sign was off for 10 mins.
We were offered an exit seat at the gate which was greatfully received but that lead me to notice that whilst the crew were ok, there were things which werent picked up on take off and landing.
Maybe the rules are different in the US but bags were left on the floor at exit rows and many people had earphones on during take off and landing. It's amazing what things you pay attention to that might effect you in the next hour

Orlando was easy without immigration and we soon had a nice new Nissan Altima from dollar which took us straight to Disney Saratoga for the next couple of weeks.
A nice change a Dollar now means there's a electronic board at the Express checkin with your name and row number at it. You just go to the car , take your paperwork of the mirror and hand it in at the exit. Very quick and very painless. As they say here - Good Job
