I wasn't going to bother with a TR for my return from my visa run. After all one 50 minute flight in Y is much like any other. But two things of note happened:
1) The International Departures Hall at Fukuoka was like a scene from the Day after Tomorrow when I arrived two hours before my flight. Empty, Empty, Empty! Except for a small queue waiting to enter the checkin area through baggage screening for Asiana at the far end of the terminal. I was checked in and through main security within 5 minutes, and then queuing for the ONE immigration desk that was open. Well, I say queuing, but there was only the one guy in front of me... If only all airports could be this easy.

2) Asiana give papers to everyone as they board, both outbound and inbound. The trolley had run out of English language news papers, so the Hostie took my seat number and rushed me a paper a short while later.
Nice touch!
