Well this is my first trip report and rather embarrasingly it is for BA rather than VS. Brief weekend trip to Glasgow, initially booked to fly from LCY as it is so much easier than the trek over to LHR for a short domestic flight. Unfortunately the flight from LCY was cancelled - would you believe it but we were informed by text message with the wrong number to call in it.[:0]

However we were re-routed from LHR, but as a result we were booked into 'Y' class, which meant we had the benefit of being able to pre-select seats[8D]. The other benefit was that we were allowed into the Terraces lounge at Terminal 1 - much better than the large waiting area for domestic passengers, especially as the flight was almost an hour late leaving. A couple of drinks, as I knew we would be out 'on the town' on arrival in GLA and some light bites definately smoothed the late arrival.

Cabin crew were all really friendly and full of smiles, which has differed from some other BA flights I have been on. A rather odd cold chicken salad was served - suppose you shouldn't expect much on only a hour flight. The drinks service was excellent - 2 bottles of wine each all round....and the flight seemed to fly by.

All too soon we were in GLA and the luggage came off very rapidly and off to hotel and then into town!
