After the brilliant upper class flight to LAX, and having negotiated the immigration and slow baggage reclaim, it was a short walk to Terminal 1 at LAX for the Southwest flight to LAS. Having never flown on Southwest, but previously having seen them on the TV, I was quite looking forward to this flight. Check-in was very efficient and then through a very quick security check to the departures lounge. As it was only about 40 minutes to go, we queued in the 'C' queue - last to board.

Fairly full flight, although it was only about 45 minutes in total and 1 hour 5 minutes 'gate to gate' as they put it. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a soft drink and peanuts on this flight, especially given how cheap the tickets were.

The flight crew were very witty and I listened to the safety announcement more than I would do as it was done in a very funny way, although covering all of the essential bits! The humour continued throughout the flight and even after landing.

Given that I was quite tired after the flight from LHR to LAX, it was an enjoyable flight and the wit and humour of the crew definitely made it better!

Thoroughly enjoyed the flight to Vegas with Southwest and would recommend them to anyone else as well.
