Having to make a last minute booking for a trip to HK my favoured option was VS,On checking prices the ANZ PE seat was £750 cheaper than VS so decision made. First and only downside was that I did not qualify for lounge accesss which my AG status would have given me had i taken the VS flight. As it was term 1 was not busy so not too bad. All previous flights on ANZ have been Buisness Premier which has always compared favorably IMHO to the VS UC offering. Having now made this first PE trip I feel that ANZ beat VS easily with their PE offering as well. I had an isle seat that was fine with good leg room. Food served was good quality and wine was in ample supply with dinner being followed by cheese and port. One of my favourite things with ANZ is that you can start watching in flight entertainment before take off & not finish until after landing. Crew were good through out the flight. Hoping that Thursday mornings flight home will be just as good.

Thanks for the TR. I have heard some great things about ANZ.

The IFE from take off to landing would be great, see that a fair bit on a couple of the US domestics.

Interesting to hear your views on ANZ, a friend of mine always tells me how good they are.

It would be nice to have a Port instead of the usual Brandy or Baileys on VS after the meal!

Like the sound of IFE that you can watch from take off until landing.
