I am a big fan of Jet Blue , they do it right and at a good price. There were no decent VS MCO-LGW fares so I had booked to fly via JFK. Online check in was smooth and secured seat 2F. at the airport (after a quick check at the Virgin desk to see if it was worth swapping flights) bag dropped easily and quickly and a very quick run through security. JB use the B gates which all appear to be domestic flights so no long q's like there usually are at the Virgin end.
Extra leg room gets you priority boarding so it was onto the plane and into the seocnd row. the space is great for a 2 hour flight (todays was 2.05) but unfortunatley half way through the loading process a mid afternoon Florida storm rolled in and the lightning caused the bag loading to be stopped. this went on and off for an hour, though to be fair we were kept fully appraised by the pilot ,however rather than sit in the cockpit, he came out and used the FA's PA so he could tell the PAX face to face. All done good naturedly.." and guess what I am about to say this time?" ---150 groans of 'its stopped AGAIN!'....big smile and 'dont worry folks we will still get you there'

we eventually took off 65 mins late and ran into some pretty bumpy weather (even the FAs were seated) for the first 20-25 mins, then it was smooth all the way into JFK landing at around 7pm. Snacks and drinks provided on the way up and the Direct TV with 40 odd channels is superb.

a quick walk to baggage claim and a 5 minute wait before my bag appeared, then the yomp over to T4.

As always a first class flight, no fuss no frills just a pleasant experience.....

Good TR. I always sit in row 2 on JB too and love that I can watch tv the whole time from take off to landing.

Well as you left MCO I arrived. You are not missing much weather wise as it is still raining and if one more person tells me how much it is needed......... Still I am here for 5 weeks so I can be patient :w

If only I had known I was not the only V-F'er caught up by this storm! We could have met up in McCoys for a swift half before our flights!

My TR will follow- needless to say I had one of those mad airport sprints to make my connection at ATL to MAN!
