Public transport in Copenhagen is really good and the airport is a few stops away from the city centre. The trains look like this:

Using my Avios to travel in Club Europe gave me access to the Novia Lounge at Copenhagen Airport. Which is a strange one. How do you make an airport lounge something special, in an airport that is already pretty special. Copenhagen Airport is a delight to use, although Fastrak access to security is by using a 'blink or you'll walk past it' lane.
The lounge had some superb Danish breads, some cheese and hams and the usual selection of drinks. Unlike in other lounges I have used, the mixers and soft drinks were were in full size bottles to pour from, and the Cokes etc. were from a dispenser.
I had some bread with my GGG&T.
And the reading material was limited...

..but to a geek like me it was great reading other airlines inflight magazines!
I would not pay for this lounge. Where I was seated overlooked an airport bar and that looked far more fun. Also, the lights were at an irritating level for me:

I made my way to the gate which I forgot was through passport control, thankfully no queues and I was at the gate before long. Boarding was announced and I settled in to my seat. (2F).
Drinks were served, champagne natch.
Followed by a really really tasty meal offering.

The staff were great, and they let me keep the little Champagne glasses.
